SUSTAINABLE SALON SUMMIT – MAY 21^ST, 2023

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ATTENDANCE

1. COMPLIANCE. While attending the Sustainable Salon Summit at Legends Hall at Marq Southlake, I agree to observe and obey any/all posted rules, warnings, and/or oral instructions given by any employees, representatives, or agents of Legends Hall at Marq, Head Case, Head Case Coaching and/or Innovative Beauty Distributors hereinafter known as “ENTITIES”.
2. ASSUMPTION OF THE RISKS AND RELEASE. I recognize that there are certain risks associated with any event of this nature. I fully release, discharge, and/or hold harmless the ENTITIES for any injury, loss or damage arising out of my use of or presence upon the property of Legends Hall at Marq Southlake during the Sustainable Salon Summit on May 21st, 2023.
3. INDEMNIFICATION. I agree to indemnify and defend ENTITIES against all claims, causes of action, damages, judgments, costs, or expenses, including attorney fees and other litigation costs, which may, in any way arise from my use of or presence upon the property of Legends Hall at Marq Southlake while attending the Sustainable Salon Summit on May 21^st, 2023.
4. FEES. I agree to pay for any/all damages to the facilities of Legends Hall at Marq Southlake caused by any accidental, negligent, reckless, or willful actions by me.
5. TICKETS/ATTENDANCE. One ticket permits one person to attend the event on May 21^st, 2023. Every attendee must register with Innovative Beauty Distributors and will be required to present a photo ID before entering the event facility. No photo ID, no admittance. Ticket purchases are transferable, however, the transferee must register as the attendant and present a photo ID. No one under 18 will be permitted into the event facility. Tickets are non-refundable after May 7^th, 2023. Should rescheduling the event due to an unforeseen circumstance occur, any ticket holder may request a 100% refund.  Once a new date is set, non-refunded tickets will be redeemable at the rescheduled event.  
6. PHOTOGRAPHY RELEASE. Photos and videos of the Sustainable Salon Summit 2023 will be taken and used for marketing on social media, websites, and other promotional materials. Supporting partners, sponsors, and event attendees may wish to share photos and videos for professional marketing use. I grant full permission for any photos or videos in which I am present to be used without restriction in any marketing capacity by anyone at the event. I further acknowledge that there will be no compensation of any kind for the use of these photos or videos. 
7. NO DURESS. I agree and acknowledge that I am under no pressure or duress to sign this Agreement and that I have been given a reasonable opportunity to review it before signing. I further agree and acknowledge that I am free to have my legal counsel review this Agreement if I so desire. I acknowledge that Innovative Beauty Distributors promises to refund my ticket purchase if I choose not to sign this Agreement.
8. ENFORCEABILITY. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of this Agreement, whether standing alone or as applied to a particular occurrence or circumstance, shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision of this Agreement or any further applications of such provision, as the case may be, and the such invalid or unenforceable provision shall be deemed not to be a part of this Agreement.
9. APPLICABLE LAW. Any legal or equitable claim arising from participation in the above shall be resolved under Texas law.

ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION WAIVER AND AGREEMENT

I acknowledge that I MUST be 21 years of age to consume alcohol on the property owned by Legends Hall at Marq Southlake, 285 Shady Oaks Dr, Southlake, TX 76092. I acknowledge and accept that I am solely responsible for any/all damages suffered by myself or that I may cause to third parties because of said consumption including, but not limited to, property damage, personal injury, death, disfigurement, or loss of consortium.

 I acknowledge and accept that the ENTITIES are not responsible or liable for any damages to me or third parties that result from the consumption of alcohol by me or others, including, but not limited to, property damage, personal injury, death, disfigurement, or loss of consortium. 

I acknowledge it is against the law to serve, provide, or make available alcohol to anyone under the age of 21. I swear and affirm not to provide anyone under the age of twenty-one with alcohol. If I choose to do so, however, I acknowledge and accept that I am solely 100% responsible for any/all damages that result from someone under the age of twenty-one consuming alcohol, including, but not limited to, property damage, personal injury, death, or disfigurement to themselves, as well as property damage, personal injury, death, disfigurement, or loss of consortium to third parties.

 I acknowledge and agree that if I feel impaired from consuming alcohol on the property of Legends Hall at Marq Southlake while attending the Sustainable Salon Summit, I will not drive my vehicle and seek another form of transportation. If I do, however, drive impaired after consuming alcohol on the property of Legends Hall at Marq Southlake while attending the Sustainable Salon Summit, I acknowledge and accept that I am solely 100% responsible for any/all damages suffered by myself or third parties from my decision to drive impaired, but not limited to, property damage, personal injury, death, disfigurement, or loss of consortium.  

I have read this waiver of liability in its entirety and agree with its terms. I have executed the waiver voluntarily and without any inducement. I hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, or anyone else who might make a claim on my behalf, waive, release, and discharge the ENTITIES for any/all causes of action, claims, or lawsuits that may result from the consumption of alcohol on their property while attending the Sustainable Salon Summit on May 21^st, 2023.
